Our Mission : Food, Education, Medicine
Earlier this July, Dominion Foundation brought together children and youth living with disabilities for a special community event designed to foster inclusion, friendship, and empowerment. The event, held at a local park, attracted dozens of children with various disabilities, along with their families, volunteers, and supporters of the foundation. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with laughter, smiles, and the unmistakable spirit of unity. The day began with a warm welcome from our team, who introduced a lineup of accessible games and activities tailored to suit children of all abilities. Highlights included adaptive sports, sensory play stations, group art projects, and storytelling sessions led by enthusiastic volunteers. Special attention was given to ensuring that every child, whether using a wheelchair, walker, or sensory tools, could participate fully and comfortably in every activity.Parents and caregivers expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to connect with other families and to see their children so actively engaged and joyful. One parent shared, “Events like this are rare, and they mean the world to our family. It’s not just about fun it’s about belonging and hope.”The Dominion Foundation’s leadership used the occasion to reaffirm the organization’s mission: breaking down barriers for disabled children and advocating for a world where everyone is included and celebrated. The success of this event underscored the power of community and the foundation’s ongoing commitment to practical, life-changing support for those who need it most.As the day drew to a close, children left with new friendships, lasting memories, and a sense of confidence that comes from being seen, valued, and included. Dominion Foundation looks forward to expanding these programs and continuing to be a source of hope and empowerment in the community.
